Biography

Greetings readers! I'm JD McNamara currently living in Hotlanta.  I was bitten by the writing bug in high school.  I used to write poems and songs but I never thought that I wanted to sit down and write a book.  One night while hanging out with some friends, we decided to go to the movies to see Hustle and Flow.  In the movie the character said something that resonated with me.  He told his co-star that he knew his current life was not what he should be doing.  He wanted more. That hit me like a ton of bricks.  The next few days I started working on Paris Raines.  I changed it several times and used different writing styles and decided to put it away.  Years later, while cleaning out my drawers I found the notebook and I decided to give it another try.  As I started rewriting the story I made changes and it started coming together much better than before.  This gave me ideas for other stories that I want to write.  I was a little rusted so I decided to go back to school and get my Bachelors in English focusing on Creative Writing and now I am finally following my dream.
I'm almost done with Paris Raines and I will update everyone when it's ready for the world.  My writing style fuses the mystery of James Patterson, with the savvy female leads of Sidney Sheldon, and then I add my Law and Order twist to give the readers something to talk about.  I can't wait for you all to enjoy the ride.  Feel free to stalk me on Facebook.
